Mew es una banda originaria de Dinamarca con un sonido de rock alternativo inclinado hacia el shoegaze y el dream pop, con una marcada tendencia surrealista y letras abstractas que ellos mismos denominan como “rock artístico pretencioso”. Su tercer placa discográfica, Frengers (2003), les brindó una fama internacional que mantienen hasta la fecha, contando ya con cinco álbumes de estudio.

Mew is a band that originated in Denmark with a shoegaze and dream pop bent, with a marked surrealist tendency and abstract lyrics that they dubbed "artistic rock." Their third album, Frengers (2003), brought them international fame, which they still enjoy today.
