After Nando Barragán kills his cousin, Adriano Monsalve, he crosses the desert with his dead body in hopes of resuscitating him. Years later, los Barragán bury another one of their men, forcing them to seek revenge from los Monsalve. Nando tells Alina that he will kill her first born son. Alina begs Manny to stop the war if he wants to meet his unborn child. When Frepe is killed, Manny decides to accept the peace proposal from los Barragán.
