Casey Anthony, who was accused of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee, was
found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child. She was found guily on four counts of lying to law enforcement. Anthony is scheduled for release on July 17.

Texas Rangers star Josh Hamilton was
described as "very distraught" upon learning that a Rangers fan
died after falling from the stands at a recent game. The fan fell 20 feet while trying to catch a ball that Hamilton tossed into the stands.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows star Daniel Radcliffe says he once battled a
drinking problem: "I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff. There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me." The 21-year-old Radcliffe says he hasn't had a drink in nearly a year.
A massive sandstorm driven by 60-mph winds ran through Phoenix, Arizona, grounding airplanes and causing traffic jams. National Weather Service meteorologist Ken Waters: "People who have lived in Arizona for 30, 35 years say this is the biggest one they’ve seen." At its largest point, the sandstorm was estimated to be one mile high and 100 miles wide.
