What counts as Latino?
bein latino is more then speackin espanol it abt known ur fam thats still n wher evr the country u came from diffend ur latino prid its ur roots cuz many ppl come her have kides nd dont teach um shit abt um im from chicago mexican paders i spoke spanish b4 english im a chicana nd i kno how to dance cumbia durangeze, bachata, reggeton, i got hounduren friends nd dance ponta shit we eat posole,tortas, encheladas, u name it if u a latino amiercan dont forget where u come from nd stand up for it. bkuz aky they dont care where ur from they look at ur brown skin dark hair brown eyes to um ur mexican or n imagrant just by lookin at u so clam it nd never forget spanish nd teach it to ur kides!! nd be proud of it nd dont forget wat part of mexico ur fams from mines is from guanajuato celaya casa de las momias y cajeta thats right ehh,.
You cant be latino by just knowing about your country. Its in our veins, our LANGUAGE, our culture, our family. Its our Pride.

i think one should embrace the culture somehow, and if you don't know spanish, thats ok, thats not your fault. My parents did not teach mis hermanos y yo spanish, and i Hate when people tell me that im not Latina because i dont speak it. Im learning it and i speak it ok, and understand it all. I do think it is a benefit to learn Spanish, and it does help alot with embracing the culture. But who is someone to tell me im not Latina because I do not speak Spanish fluently, or I was not born in PuertoRico? Im Latina & Proud<3

YOU SHOULD JUST BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE YOU SHOULDNT FEEL LIKE YOU MORE OF ONE THING THEN AN OTHER JUST STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF IF YOU ARE LATINO WELL YOU ARE AND SHOULD BE PROUD OF THAT AND IF YOUR NOT WELL THEN YOU NOT AND BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU ARE THOU BUT IF YOU ARE LATINO YOU SHOULD AT LEAST TRY AND LEARN SOME SPANISH IF YOU DONT KNOW ANY AT ALL IF YOU JUST THINK ABOUT SOMETIMES THE PPL THAT KNOW MORE SPANISH ARE THE ONES THAT ARENT EVEN LATINOS SO WATCH OUT LATINOS YOU BETTER START LEARNING LOL
