Narcocorridos have been banned from radio airplay in México because they "glamorize" drug culture. Much like gangsta rappers, those who perform the drug ballads say they are just singing about reality.

Only certain people should be allowed to listen to it because it is influential to people with weak minds and have a bad mentality. Too many people are ignorant and need to become educated on topics.

I LOVE Corridos. They do glamourize drugs and violence now especially when they use known brand names to describe their lifestyle. What they wear and what they drive. Its not bad, only for people with a WEAK MEANTALITY who think they have to drug deal to have that lifestyle.A smart person knows drug dealing isnt the way to have the glamourous cars and the fancy clothes in the long run ;)

They glorify the lifestyle and they do in some way advocate violence. It depends who is listening to them and if they are easily influenced. People are easily influenced especially if they reside in Mexico and if they are young and naive.

I DONT THINK THEY ENCOURAGE DRUGS THEY ARE JUST MAINLY SINGING ABOUT REALITY IF YOU JUST WANT THE TRUTH PPL GET DRUGS MAINLY TO FIT IN WITH THE CROWD OTHERS JUST TO BE COOL AND SOME BECAUSE OTHER PPL ENCOURAGE IT TO THEM SO DONT BLAME THE NARCOCORRIDOS FOR THE OWN PPLS FAULT OF USING DRUGS!!!
