Four years ago, hundreds of thousands of Latinos took to the streets to protest immigration laws. But a few months later, only one in six eligible Hispanic voters turned out to vote in that year's mid-term election.
Are Latinos too lazy, too busy or just plain scared to follow through when it actually matters?

Its both alot of latinos went to the march and protests to just take the day off and be where all the action was, and then when its time to vote they procrastinate or just dont really care. People tend to talk about things they would like to happen or to change but dont actually do anything about it. Whats scary about voting? If all the latinos who are able to vote, vote we would have a better possibility of things changing for the better, because we would have more power.

I beleave that some are but then agen some ppl do get scared only because some feel like their familias can be in danger and Well some ppl get intimidades and go with The easy wat out !
in my response it could be that they are scared..but not lazy.bcuz theirs ppl out there who would want to vote and are scared to do it bcuz they might think they are being harrassed for doing it even though they are from here,and they might also have famiily members who dont have papers and they might not do it for that reason
latinos are not lazy ! some rele cant vote and were not scared ! we are the strongest race. i mostly just is that we are busy with other things in life or religious views
