All week, a 15-year-old Texas runaway who was deported to Colombia, has been making news. Jakadrien Lorece Turner has been reported as an African-American teen who doesn't speak Spanish. "How do you deport a teenager and send her to Colombia without a passport, without anything?" asked Turner's grandmother.

But a closer look at her Facebook and Twitter profiles raises more questions than answers. For example, in a May 27, 2011 update, Turner mourns her "madre" with the following: "te amo madre... RIP Lanaya Osaria Cortezo... hermosa espiritu está en mi."

In a previous Facebook update, she expresses resignation at being deported, saying "Colombia is my home always." It is unclear whether Turner has actual roots in Latin America or has been pretending to be Hispanic. Below are additional updates from the last year that suggest this story may get more complicated.
