Maryland is now the eighth state in the U.S. that has legalized gay marriage. Governor Martin O'Malley signed the bill into law, which will take effect in January of next year.

Bully, a new documentary about kids who are bullied at school, has been rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America because of strong language. The film's producers are fighting the rating and asking for PG-13 so that actual kids can go see it.

Infamous Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio unveiled the preliminary results of his independent investigation into President Obama's birth certificate, which he alleged Thursday is likely forged. Arpaio has criticized the president for conducting a civil rights investigation of his office for abuse against Latino immigrants.
