  • FC Barcelona coach Josep "Pep" Guardiola has resigned after four years at the helm of the Spanish squad which features Lionel Messi, Xavi and Shakira's boo, Gerard Pique. Guardiola, who led the team to three straight Spanish league titles and two Champions league titles, said he is worn out: "Every day during four years, the demands are very high, the pressure, the necessary energy to push the players and enjoy it. I need to rest and move away."
