Louisiana State University has offered a football scholarship to Dylan Moses, a 14-year-old boy who is still in junior high. Some elite athletes have to take in between 4,000 and 6,000 calories to avoid losing too much weight (the average person consumes 2,000 calories a day). How do they pack the calories in? Junk food. Dr. Michael Joyner of the Mayo Clinic: "You can only eat so much oatmeal and tofu."
