  • Ten ICE agents have filed a lawsuit against Department of Homeland Security director Janet Napolitano in an attempt to overturn the Obama Administration's deferred deportation program. The lawsuit claims that ICE agents are essentially powerless because there's "no way to distinguish who qualifies for deferred deportation."

  • A burglar learned the hard way that you don't mess with LL Cool J. Jonathan Kirby, a 56-year-old with a long rap sheet, broke into LL Cool J's home earlier this week and was confronted by the rapper-actor, who left the burglar with a broken nose, jaw and ribs.
  • Katy Perry is single once more, according to People magazine. Perry split from singer John Mayer, who she hooked up with after divorcing actor Russell Brand. "They were honestly having fun. People made it out to be far more than it was," said a source to People magazine.

  • At least two people are dead and another nine are wounded after a gunman opened fire on people outside the Empire State Building in New York City. Police believe that the suspect, described as disgruntled ex-employee, was attempting to kill his former boss, who worked in the Empire State Building. The gunman was killed, either from police fire or from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

  • MMA star Jon "Bones" Jones is being blamed for the cancellation of UFC 151 on September 1. The UFC Light Heavyweight champ, who was arrested for DUI earlier this year, turned down a fight with popular fighter Chael Sonnen, after his original opponent, Dan Henderson, came down with an injury. UFC President Dana White said he "never thought in a million years" that Jones would turn down the fight. Jones is now scheduled to fight Vitor Belfort in late September.

  • Watch up-and-coming Puerto Rican singer Artista Rosario in his latest video, "Puedo Prometerte," from his forthcoming album Teatro de la Mente.
  • Decorated American cyclist Lance Armstrong has been banned from cycling for life by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. Armstrong recently said he would give up his fight against claims that he used performance enhancing drugs throughout his career. Armstrong, who overcame testicular cancer, was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and could lose his Olympic medals.
