Lupillo Rivera has denied rumors that he will perform concerts in the place of the late Jenni Rivera: "De la noticia que cubrire las fechas de Jenni, les digo que desconozco cual era su gira y mis contratos son independientes (Regarding the news that I will perform in place of Jenni, I'm not aware of any tours she was scheduled to do and my contracts are independent of those."

What were the top baby names chosen by Latino parents in 2012? Isabella knocked off Camila for the top spot in girls' names, likely due to the popularity of the Twilight series. It was followed by Sofia and Camila. For boys, the name Santiago was number one, followed by Sebastián and Mateo.

Colombian businessman Miguel Caballero, who has made a name for himself by selling bulletproof clothing in Mexico, has launched a line of bulletproof backpacks and vests for children. "People wanted these items for their children but I thought, kids don’t need this protection. After Connecticut, I see that we need a solution for kids," said Caballero.

An 18-year-old high school student from Brazil is auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder in an effort to raise money for her sick mother. Rebecca Bernardo, whose mother suffered a stroke, says she has received three offers, the highest being $35,000. An Australian college student sold her virginity for a reported $780,000 last year.

Politicians in the state of Illinois are pushing to get driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants, but some immigrants say they are afraid to get one because they may be targeted by authorities. "They will have my record, maybe one day they (authorities) will just stop me," said 19-year-old Faviola Villagomez, who was brought to the U.S. as a child.
