  • Meet Uruguay's Jose Mujica, aka the world's poorest president. Mujica, who lives on a farm and drives a 1987 Volkswagen Beetle, gives most of his salary away to charity. He lives on approximately $775 a month but doesn't consider himself poor: "Poor people are those who only work to try to keep an expensive lifestyle, and always want more and more."

  • Latinos are less likely to get paid time off or get flexible hours at work, according to a study by the Center for American progress. Only four out of 10 Latinos get paid vacation, compared to 6 out of 10 white, Asian and black Americans.

  • Julio Preciado fired a shot at Espinoza Paz, saying that a reality TV show contestant performed Paz's song better than Paz ever could. "Yo lo admiro como compositor pero como intérprete que bárbaro, creo que con esto si lo vio se debe sentir un poquito apenado (I admire him as a songwriter, but not as a singer. I think if he watched the show he would feel a bit embarrassed)," said Preciado.
