According to his family, Martin went to buy snacks during halftime of the NBA All-Star game and ended up being killed by George Zimmerman, an armed neighbor who claims he shot the boy in self-defense. "[Zimmerman] had a gun, and Trayvon had Skittles. We want justice," said the Martin family's attorney.
