Actor Steven Seagal, a vocal proponent of anti-immigration legislation and supporter of Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio, was sworn in as a deputy sheriff in Hudspeth County, Texas. Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West says Seagal made the move because Seagal is passionate about protecting the U.S.-Mexico border.
