Sports columnists around the country are criticizing the "stupid and misguided" protests and "misplaced anger" expressed by hundreds of Penn State students who rioted Wednesday night after head football coach Joe Paterno was fired. Paterno found out his assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky, was having sex with young boys back in 2002 and didn't do anything about it. This morning another group of Penn State students gathered in support of Sandusky's abuse victims.

Despite the criticism he's received for the record number of deportations under his administration, President Obama told a group of Hispanic journalists on Wednesday that he'll win over Latino voters by showing them embarrassing clips from recent Republican debates. "We won't even comment on [the clips]. We'll just run those in a loop on Univision and Telemundo, and people can make up their own minds."

Venezuela's government said Thursday it has sent its top investigators to solve the kidnapping of 24-year-old Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos, who was grabbed by armed men in front of his home in Santa Ines on Wednesday night and taken away in an SUV.
