bubbling: John Leguizamo may have lied about being part Puerto Rican, meth-dealing college professors and giant crocs
After a three-week hunt, a group of veteran hunters in a small province 500 miles outside of Manila, Phillipines captured a giant crocodile that had been threatening a village. The 21-foot, 2,300-pound crocodile was suspected in the attacks on a child, a fisherman and a water buffalo. The captured crocodile will become the main attraction at an eco-tourism park being built in the township.

The father of John Leguizamo says he doesn't understand why the New York comedian-actor claims he's half Puerto Rican, when both Leguizamo's father and mother are both Colombian. Leguizamo, who was born in Colombia, says he hasn't talked to his father in over a decade.

A California State University professor is being sought by police on suspicion of being the ringleader of a circle of meth dealers. Stephen Kinzey is also suspected of being the president of motorcycle outlaw gang, the Devil's Diciples. After a six month undercover operation, police raided Kinzey's home late last week and found one pound of methamphetamine, military body armor, brass knuckles, a sniper rifle, an AP-9 pistol and Neo-nazi paraphernalia. Kinzey's girlfriend and other members of the gang were arrested at the home.

Newly discovered emails reveal that the White House was better informed about a failed gun-tracking program into Mexico than was previously known. Three national security officials with the Obama administration received emails about the operation, known as Fast and Furious, which allowed guns to be purchased illegally in the U.S. in order to track them to Mexican drug cartels. One of the three officials briefed was Dan Restrepo, the president's senior Latin American advisor.
