More than 13,000 men and women were discharged from the military after being outed during the policy's lifetime. Service members may now be openly gay without facing any repercussions from the military.

Los Angeles graffiti artist Saber unleashed a pie-in-the-sky surprise Monday when he took his art to the skies, writing giant messages by airplane that denounced a public moratorium placed on graf artists around the city. After writing a few shout outs, Saber moved on to messages like: "Art is not a crime." and "End mural moratorium."

(image via Orange County Sheriff's Department) A 44-year-old Orange County hockey mom has been arrested for allegedly having sex with members of her son's hockey team when they were under 14 and 16 years old. Investigators say they were initially tipped that Kathia Maria Davis, of Laguna Niguel, had thrown sleepover parties for the hockey team and had provided alcohol.
Apple has banned a game from its App store that has users go through the experience of producing smart phones in harsh conditions around the world. Billed by its creators as "an educational game about the dark side of your favorite smart phone," Phone Story was pulled four days after it was released by Apple but is still available for Androids. Apple says the game violated its rules because it featured depictions of child abuse and objectionable content.
